A twist of sublime

Denise is one of my favorites. She's an artist as well as a model and that is a very informative duality. She doesn't just strike a pose she becomes the pose, and she enunciates it all the way out to her toes and fingertips. She poses with an elegance and a defiance of physics that makes you feel as though she exists in a liquid environment. She will also throw these twisting helixes of foreshortened form that challenge the mind as well as one's confidence.

dani: Thank you. I've been laying plans for a Wonder Woman painting as part of a series to which you may be a great help. Will have to talk.

comik: the figure studies I posts are generally in the ten to 20 minute range, so I've considered posting a start to finish of one of those, but it will have to be a clothed figure or a convenient camera angle. I also have plans for doing sketch and specific painting technique videos.
thanks a bunch for the suggestions. As the title suggests this is a work in progress.

Brian,
I had no idea you had a blog man. It is so cool to see your work again. It's really been a minute. I heard you guys moved to a new cool location and everything is going well. I'm dying to get down to one of your figure classes and jam with you and catch up. All the work on here is a true inspiration as usual, and I will be back for more soon.

Come check out the work Elio and I are doing when you get a chance. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Peace,
Joe Karg
